My Hongdae Trip! (10March2014)

so here's about my trip to Hongdae. i cant believe i went to Hongdae during the day and on Monday! haha!

the thing is that, my mentor who i called JooPica asked me out. then she asked me where is the place that i really want to go. at that time, i have nothing on my mind. anywhere will be fine.

so the next day when we met, she suggested that we go to Hongdae to hangout. maybe at the cafes of somewhere there to have lunch.

after walking for quite sometime, we reached here!!! HELLO KITTY CAFE!!!

i couldnt waste any more time. we went inside the cafe and look at the menu displayed

there are not many choices. but one thing for sure, there are soooooo cute!

this is me while waiting to order at the counter. i am sooooo excited and i order a few desserts.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

while waiting for the food to come, i couldnt help myself but to take lotssssss of photos of the cafe as well as myself in there. the cafe is superbly cute. and everything was hello kitty!

u can see how excited i am by looking at my face ^.^

 

 

so here are the few things we ordered while spending time in the cafe. i ordered chocolate waffle with banana aside and tiramisu. and not to forget, lattes. caramel latte and green coffee latte.

  

so these are the pics of the woman's toilet! isnt it cute? i love the pink color of the toilet! makes me feel more in love with it!

haha! i couldnt help myself to not taking pictures of this. even that it is not pink, i still think that its cute. hello kitty should be also accepted by the guys out there. its not a girly thing.

 

so thats about the Hello Kitty Cafe.

then we walked around Hongdae. my mentor wanted to bring me to this gallery. Korean is also famous for their inventing passions.

so this place is called 'SangSangMaDang'

 

 

 

in the gallery, there are lotsssss of things that are invented by the Koreans in order to make human's life easier. its a waste that i cant take picture in this gallery. this is not just gallery. they sell the stuff too. very modern and unique. and there are also hand made items.

i can say that, the Koreans are superbly talented people!

moving on --->

we continue walking again to find the Coffee Prince Cafe

rakyat Malaysia yg g Korea especially girlssss mesti nk g cafe ni. well, bkn murah nk g Korea ni, kn? alang2 dah sampai, mesti la g.

to see the cafe, from the drama in front of our eyes kn..? ^.^ i understand. i feel that too

i love the drama.

but, the cafe is just ordinary for me. but the coffee is expensive than other place, so do the dessert. hurm, maybe once okay laa..

 

 

 

 

i ordered Americano and tiramisu :)

it was okay. but nothing special.

 

then we went back to where we came from. the Hongdae streets. to find things that i can eat. the safe choice is, 'bibimbap' no meat, no chicken, no pork. just an egg, rice and lotsssss of vege.

dont be surprise, very tiny stall have this machine. this machine displays menu and take orders from customer. and we need to pay at here too. then take the receipt to the 'ahjumma' and she will prepare ur food. very convenience!

My Trip to ChangDeokGung (8March2014)

this is my solo trip everrrrr

without my mom..and brother..and dad..

seriously?

YES, and i never thought i will be experiencing this in my life

something like, study abroad..alone..and making friendsssss..and only talking in English..and lil bit of Korean..

SERIOUSLY?

i feel like im in a dream!

but,

living alone makes me miss everyone especially mom, dad, bro, and last but not least, Mr.Saranghae!!!

i used to see him everyday..but now..? only KakaoTalk..WhatsApp..

and i miss to fight with my Mom and Bro..

hukhukhuk!

if i dont have money, how can i ask my bro..? :(

and every weekend dah xbalik my dad's house :(

but i have to be strong..another 12 weeks to go!

time will fly..without me even notice..hihi

so, without further delay, i will straight to my post here on my ChangDeokGung's trip.

on my last trip with my Mom and Bro, we didnt enter this palace. since we're out on Monday that day, this palace was closed. then we went to GeongBukGung. 

so,

to get here, i think the easiest way is to go by subway. and its cheap too.

take the subway, and get off at Jongno(3)-ga. after going out from the subway station, u may see lots of signs pointing to the palace.

 

so, first thing first. PHOTO SESSION!

i find that, i fell in love with the paints. haha! very nice, isnt it?

 

 

and the weather that day was soooo nice.

after that, we walked to Insa-Dong for more sight seeing. haha! 

since ive been there, i dont really amazed of that area. there are sooooo many people there especially the tourists. and lots of souvenirs there, and so do talented people who displays their works on the streets.

it was a very nice window shopping trip! 

 

we are at the famous SSanziegil. gile ramai nak mampos org. terase malas pulak nk bersesak dgn sume org. so we decided not to go up there.

well, ive been there before, so its not a waste for me. hihi! 

 

 

 

this is an ice cream..stuffed in a 'keropok jagung'. i saw my lecturer done this before, so im eager to try this. okay la..biase je..and this costs me KW3,000. that freezing cold ice cream in the freezing cold environment. kinda regret. because i have to hold that ice cream, i cant warm my hands in my pockets.

oh yea, thats Rezza. we came together from UniKL but he is in Semyung University. that weekend, he was in Seoul. so i dragged him here too. haha!

My Second Day in Seoul

this is me walking from my dorm to Hanyang Plaza accompany a friend from Indonesia to post some stuffs to his friends in Busan.

today i went to MyeongDong and Namdemun Market

bought some toiletries..

lunch..then have a walk..

go back to my dorm..

*sigh*

soooooooo tired of walking!

everyday, i have to walk and 'climb' the hill

i was superbly far to go from one place to another! 

especially from my dorm to the subway station!

urgh! superbly tired!

how i miss my darling's car right now!

Korea, Here I Come!

after months of waiting, finally..

we took off to Korea to fulfil our dream to live in Korea for 16 weeks

haha!

im kinda sad, but im excited at the same time.

these are all those peeps who are going to Korea..except for Miss Jan and Miss Gibb who were there to say goodbye to us :)

so this is the Pas Nasser's Nasi Lemak

its a must when u board an AirAsia flight! 

because it was a long flight, Rezza decided to walk around..betul2kn pinggang..kaki..sume lah..haha! he sits at the other side of my seat..so its kinda far..fyi, my seat was at the back..and its was near to the toilets and the FA's station. 

and..this is lunch..chicken with some potatoes and veggies, served with cherry sauce. and the set comes with pasta, waffle and orange juice :) all these was only RM15. 

this picture was taken one and a half hour before landing. beds of cloudssss..masyaAllah..subhanAllah..nothing more can i say when seeing this.

and that thing that looked like dust is actually ice. maybe its too cold outside. 

this was taken a few minutes after we land. everyone was too busy updating their fb, instagram, whatsapp..

our first impression was like "internet die laju siotttt...!"

and.....as usual, urs truly's selfie.. 

this is the picture i sent to everyone saying that ive safely landed at the Incheon International Airport :) 

thats Pdud. i dont know his real name, but we call him Pdud..even thats his fb name.

he is that kind of person.. haha! crazy2 person.

we didnt get to experience this in LCCT, only in KLIA je ade bende ni.

this is me, waiting for the shuttle train to get our baggage.

when i was at the passport checking and stamping point, i dont know how but i speak fluently in Korean to that Immigration officer. i dont believe that i can speak to them as soon as i landed :)

haha! well, alhamdulilla..everything is settled now.

and i have someone from the university to pick me and Afiq a.k.a Bob to the Hanyang University.

right now, 

im in my dorm..this building is called International House

i will be living with a roomate from Vietnam (which i still dont get her name yet)

i will post more as soon as i tidy up my room

Adventurous Alia!

yep, its kinda almost impossible for me, a.k.a the great Lya to walk..

to be honest, i am trying to be more adventurous in Korea soon

and i am totally aware that, in order for me to get to one place, i have to change like 2 or 3 subway line. yes, i know that.

and i am trying my best to fully utilized the subway. hahaks!

besides, i have to save more for other stuff than transportation. the more money i save from transportation, more other things i can buy

genius!

and dont worry, i will always update my life in Korea.

who knows, maybe my blog can be ur reference in the future. right?

hello readers! 

how's life so far?

lots of things going on lately..

and..im still here in Kuala Lumpur..not yet in Korea

yes, i wish im there too :)

i cant wait to set my foot on the land of Korea! hahaks!

but,

before going to Korea, i actually have to do some stuff here

its more like a assignment, in a project form

we have to complete the assignment in order for us to go to Korea

so after briefing just now, the faster the better..the faster i can enjoy my time :)

so here's the project:

we have to come out with a video, more like an introduction video about UniKL

lots of interviews to conduct..with the dean, the deputy dean, and the international students ('^.^')

i am looking forward to finish this assignments as soon as possible

Subject Registration!

the moment ive been waiting for is finally here!

the things is that, there are not much Multimedia subjects that i can choose from.

so far, these are the best i can get.

these are just 'desired courses' and there will be 1 more subject which is Survival Korean's subject

im 24 

honestly, i dont feel like im 24

i thought, being 24 u'll be more matured..with more responsibilities on your shoulder..

thats how i see people when they got older

well maybe because im not yet working, and im not married yet

so ive no responsibilities except for myself and my families :)

but whatever it is, i am trying my best to be a better person in life

there will be so many things that i wanted to achieve in 2014

its already confirmed that im gonna go to Korea this end of February for the Spring semester for the student exchange programme. im  already flattered when i got the offer letter and passed the interview :)

and knowing that my parents, both Ibu and Abah are gladly to send me there. not to mention there will be financials difficulties. hostel's fees..and other miscellaneous stuff that require money. 

thank God, alhamdulillah..

its all done.

and having a kind bf, that always supported me is super duper GOOD!

well, there is someone i know who applied to go to Korea too and she got in..but then she didnt go because her bf didnt let her go. see?

besides that, my superbly cool bf will come and visit me in Korea! in sha Allah, he will come for his birthday somewhere in late March. isnt it great? im glad that he would come and visit me. and i can show him around. im actually have so many plans in my head for his birthday in Korea actually. maybe we're going to lock our love at the Nam Tower..or maybe going to Nami Island to make our own 'Winter Sonata' version! haha! i am sooooo excited! i hope what we planned will come true :)
